Common diseases in children

All children deserve high quality medical care.

The following information from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) mentions some of the most common childhood diseases and treatments that have been approved.

1. Sore throat

Sore throats are common in children and can be painful. 

2. Earache 

Earache is common in children and can have many causes (infection)

3. Cold 

Colds are caused by viruses in the upper respiratory tract.

4. Cough 

Cough is usually caused by viruses, and antibiotics are usually not necessary. 

5. Zika 

Zika is a virus that is mostly transmitted by mosquitoes (mosquitoes). 

The most common symptoms of Zika are these: 

· Fever. 

· Rash. 

· Headache. 

· Joint pain. 

· Conjunctivitis (red eyes) 

· Muscle pain. 

6. Dengue 

Viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes and prevalent in tropical and subtropical areas. 

Symptoms 

· High fever. 

· Nausea and vomiting 

· Rash on the skin. 

· Blood in the gums and nose. 

· General weakness. 

· Joint and muscle pain. 

· Cough. 

· Sore throat.
